Sweeney Medium Quick Release
The Medium Sweeney Quick Release is compact yet super strong, supporting and releasing a whopping 500 pounds (226kg) with a 5 to 1 safety factor.
Originally designed for a secret animatronics facility, we made some tweaks to make it perfect for 'general' use. Just a 17-pound (7.7kg) pull on the latch lever and the load drops.
The body measures .625" (16mm) x 1.25" (32mm) x 3.25" (82.5mm), excluding the latch lever and pivot pins. The latch and hook are made of heat-treated 4130 Chrome-Moly Steel. This design is the perfect blend of our XL and L Quick releases, it has been used and loved by people all around the world.
